Admission Test in general

The admission test is conducted online and is not held in Marburg. You can find the test dates on our website.
The admission test is solely a German language test for all applicants, no matter which course you apply for.
Length of the test: 40 Minutes
Format: C-Test, where in four short texts in every second word the second half  must be completed. A sample example is available

Admission

In order to get an invitation to the admission test you have to apply via uni-assist. For a successful application you need a certain level of proficiency in German. The ranking of the admission test is primarily made on the grade the applicant got in his or her school leaving certificate from the home country. (HZB-Note). The results of the admission test (C-Test) just serve as a of the applicant’s language comprehension.

Notice: ONLY those applicants who have applied via uni-assist to one of the three universities (University of Applied Science of Central Hesse, Justus Liebig University Giessen, Philipps University of Marburg) are eligible to take this test.
