Applying To The Studienkolleg
For graduates from PASCH schools, the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen has a special application process that allows applicants to start preparing for their university studies at the Studienkolleg immediately after high school graduation. In this way applicants from PASCH schools can pass the admission examination in their home countries and apply directly to the Studienkolleg.

Taking the admission examination is mandatory in order to be granted admission to the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen. For applicants from PASCH schools, this examination is held twice a year (in late March for the winter semester and early October for the summer semester) in their home countries. The coordination of the examination process is undertaken by the ZfA (German Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen English Central Office for Schools Abroad) or Goethe Institutes. PASCH students who are in their last year of high school and would like to take the admission examination for the Studienkolleg should contact either their school’s academic adviser (in the case of German Schools Abroad), or their German teacher (in the case of DSD schools), or their respective Goethe Institute (in the case of FIT schools). Graduates from PASCH schools who wish to, or are required to, take the admission examination in Germany are requested to contact Ms. Heibrock.
For all applicants, regardless of for which modules, the admission examination entails taking one German test. Those who can show proof of having passed the DSD2-test are exempt from having to take this test. Applicants for the “T,” “M,” and “W” modules are also required to take a mathematics test. Applicants for the “G” module will take a reading comprehension test.
Here you can find out which specialization modules of the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen correspond to which study programs at the three universities (Philipps University of Marburg, University of Applied Science of Central Hesse, Justus Liebig University Giessen).
Applicants who have NOT attended a PASCH school can find information about the admission examination here.
