School Groups On Visit To Marburg
The Philipps-Universität Marburg offers its partner schools the opportunity to bring groups of high school students interested in studying at the Philipps-Universität Marburgand/or attending the preparatory courses at the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen on one- to three-day visits to Marburg so that they can get to know both the university and the city.
During their stay, high school students will visit the main university buildings and receive target-group-specific information relevant to both the preparation involved in the specific study programs and to the options on offer in Marburg. They will also visit individual academic departments and take part in a walk through Marburg’s historic Old Town. Depending on the interests and desires of the group in question, the itinerary can also include sitting in on individual classes or visiting certain facilities (e.g., the hands-on lab at Chemikum Marburg, the Anatomical Museum, etc.) in Marburg's locality that could be of particular interest. During their stay the needs of the groups will be attended to by student tutors and employees of the university and the Studienkolleg.
The academic advisers of the respective high school or the relevant PASCH school teachers can arrange a school group visit by contacting Ms. Heibrock.
