  Support and Contact Points for International Students

  Our service facilities for international students provide guidance to students from abroad, prospective students with foreign school qualifications, and exchange students planning to spend a semester in Marburg.

  Student Hotline "Stud-i-fon"

  Our Student Hotline "Stud-i-fon" is the central service facility for prospective and current students. A team of student staff members is available to assist with questions and concerns from enrollment to graduation.

  Central Student Counseling & Career Service

  The Central Student Counseling & Career Service is the central point of contact for information and advisory needs related to studying at the University of Marburg. As a central service facility, we support students in choosing a course of study and throughout their academic journey, up to the transition into their professional careers.

  Lists of contact persons for academic advising, examination offices, and Erasmus coordinators.

  Administration Office

  For questions about applications, re-enrollment, transferring study places, and other academic formalities, the staff at the administration office will be happy to assist you.

  Support for Refugees

  The Coordinating Office for University Activities in Support of Refugees is the central contact for refugee initiatives at Uni Marburg, coordinating efforts with local partners to support the integration of refugees and asylum seekers.

  Mental Health

  For any personal conflicts, you can reach out to the psychological support services at the University of Marburg.   Welcome and Orientation Services for International Students

  A warm welcome to all new international students. To prepare for your studies, we recommend the podcast We take you places and participation in the Intercultural Training (online) and the Orientation Program. All offers are free of charge and take place before the start of studies.

  The Office for Anti-discrimination and Diversity (ADiS) is the central point of contact on the topic of discrimination and bias at Philipps-Universität Marburg.

  Counseling and Social Services at Studierendenwerk (Student Welfare Organization)

  To support student autonomy and help them navigate challenges, counseling services are essential. Students can receive guidance for academic and personal decisions. As part of its legal responsibility for social and health support, the Studierendenwerk offers psychological and general social counseling, complementing university services.

  Our Social Counselling Service at AStA Marburg is a place to go to find out about options for financing your studies, both in general and in the case of urgent difficulties or special conditions of life (e.g.: studying with children, problems with employment law, financing options and special risks for international students).
