A solid education in the compulsory Chemistry subjects of Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry is supplemented by an education in Mathematics, Physics, Law and Toxicology befitting the subject of Chemistry. A broad offering of elective Chemistry subjects, Special Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Macromolecular and Theoretical Chemistry, and non-Chemistry elective subjects takes students' specific disciplinary interests into account.
Major topics
The core Chemistry subjects of Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, with four obligatory modules each, along with Analytical Chemistry form the major curricular focus of the program.
Objectives
The "Bachelor of Science" university degree represents a first professional qualifying degree and qualifies students for a continuing master's program or for chemistry-related work in the following professional fields, among others:
- Consulting (public administration, associations, institutions and organizations)
- Media (including publishers),
- Public relations in economics (industrial companies, independent and private service providers),
- Laboratory work
