Contents

In the minor subject “Introduction to Physics”, you will acquire the ability to identify phenomena and causal relations from the fields of mechanics, electricity and heat as well as optics and quantum phenomena. On the basis of physical problems, the analysis of these and mathematical modelling, you will develop appropriate solutions.

The minor subject is structured into experimental physics, internships, mathematics and physics elective modules, whereby experimental physics is the most important part of the course.

Prospects

The minor subject “Introduction to Physics” will help you to extend your professional qualification profile, which is decisively shaped by the choice of your major subject. In conjunction with your major subject, your relevant work experience (e.g. internships, part-time jobs, voluntary work) and your personal skills, it will enable you to refine your profile and carve out your own individual array of career options.
