The Vergleichende Kultur- und Religionswissenschaft / Comparative Studies in Culture and Religions program enables you to study the three subjects of European Ethnology/Cultural Studies, Religious Studies, and Cultural and Social Anthropology as one bachelor's program with three major topics. The program provides you with fundamental scientific knowledge in the field of Cultural and Religious Studies, and additionally enables you to apply this knowledge professionally in a broad field.

During the program, you will become familiar with the forms of everyday ways of living and popular cultural phenomena in European and non-European contexts, both present and historical. This is not only on a theoretical level, but also through your own small-scale empirical research. You will acquire knowledge in the field of cultural, ethnic and religious phenomena and problem areas, and skills intended to qualify you for practical cultural work.
