In addition to fundamental business administration theories and instruments, the Interkulturelle Betriebswirtschaftslehre / Intercultural Business Studies (B.Sc.) bachelor program provides you with the capability for global thinking and action. While a first component of the program introduces the content of business studies with a particular reference to international business activity, a second component serves for the acquisition of intercultural competencies and linguistic qualifications, taking into account the ever increasing international presence and networking of companies and other institutions.
Major topics
Following the acquisition of well-founded knowledge of cultural spaces, either from an ethnological, geographical, historical-scientific or art history perspective, the further course of study provides the opportunity to place particular cultural and economic focus on "Industrialized Countries" and "Emerging Markets."
Forming this area of specialization enables you to develop an independent profile according to individual inclinations and current labor market demands already during the bachelor program.
Objectives
Successful completion of the "Interkulturelle Betriebswirtschaftslehre/ Intercultural Business Studies (B.Sc.)" bachelor's program qualifies you for work with international and intercultural relevance in the private economy, in the fields of industry, trade and services, as well as in the public economy and with associations.
For particularly qualified students, it opens up the possibility for participation in master programs in economics, at home or abroad.
