Learning makes you hungry!
University Food Services at the Marburg Student Union (Studierendenwerk) will provide you a wide range of hot and cold snacks, hot meals and evening meals at its canteens and cafeterias during your degree program. There are also delicious cold drinks and coffee specialties as well as a wide selection of cakes and pastries for snacks.
At least one vegan dish will be on the menu in the canteens every day. And: Wherever possible, regional and seasonal produce such as herbs from the Botanical Garden, vegetables and meat from the surrounding region are used. The salad doesn’t come from a bag but from the Marburg region! It is freshly cleaned, plucked and portioned here in-house every day. The dressing is also made inhouse. Our chefs say “Nein, danke!” to commercially processed schnitzel. We prefer to season, bread and fry it ourselves – fresh every day.
Canteens
The canteens (German Mensa) prepare a large selection of delicious and varied dishes every working
day. In addition to a variety of daily specials and different dishes, vegetarian and vegan fare is also
offered.

- Mo's Diner (multipurpose building Hans-Meerwein-Straße)
- Cafeteria Lahnberge (student center south of the University Hospital)
