Digital Accessibility Network at the University of Marburg

In fall 2021 the project "Enhancing Diversity through Digital 'Accessibility" (V#d - Vielfalt digital stärken), initiated a university wide network on digital accessibility at the University of Marburg. The aim of the network is to exchange information on the current challenges regarding digital accessibility at the university and to approach them together. In particular, the aim is to work together on developing processes and structures that contribute to the reduction of digital accessibility barriers at the University of Marburg.

Representatives of the following institutions are currently involved in the network:

  • University Computer Center
  • University Communications
  • University Library
  • Service Center for Students with Disabilities (SBS)
  • Peer Student Advisory Service with a focus on students with blindness and low vision at Faculty 04
  • Peer Student counseling service for students with disabilities at Faculty 01
  • Cooperation office with the Deutsche Blindenstudienanstalt Marburg (blista) e.V. (Department for Educational Science)
  • Department of Teaching Development and University Didactics/Future Workshop for Digitally Supported University Teaching
  • AStA: Autonomous Department for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (ABR)

The network's key issues are determined together.
