  • De-Registration

    If you are leaving Marburg "for good" you must also de-register at the "Stadtbuero". Please go there and tell them you are not going to live in Marburg after December/June.
    They are going to give you a confirmation of de-registration – please just take it with you and hand it in to us.

  • Ucard

    If you give your Ucard back to the Studentenwerk ("Info Point", ground level), you will receive a 5-€-deposit back plus whatever amount there is still on it.

  • Room Deposit

    In order to get your room deposit back, you will have to contact the student union. 

    The prerequisite for getting your room deposit back is that you had an appointment with your housekeeper where she had a look at your room (and filled out the so-called "Laufzettel"). Now comes the tricky part: After the housekeeper has checked your room you are not allowed to stay anymore, but must give her your keys. This means that you have to leave your room, with all your luggage, at a time when the housekeeper has time (weekdays only), and then you must have a plan where to go (the airport? a friend? Frankfurt? a hotel or hostel?).
