On 3 September, we welcomed Maximilian Ulbrich to RTG 2937. The lab leader at the University of Freiburg engaged in meetings with Marburg researchers and broadened the horizon of the MiNu PhDs and postdocs with his talk on "Single-molecule imaging of membrane protein interactions in living cells".

Research in the Ulbrich Lab lab focusses on interactions of membrane proteins in living cells, trying to understand how complexes made of many different proteins assemble and how they behave during signalling processes. To this purpose, single fluorescent molecules are imaged using state-of-the art microscopy equipment and develop novel tools for single molecule imaging. Thank you for your visit and the impulses you gave us, Max! We hope you enjoyed your stay as much as we did.
