24.09.2024 "Microbial Cell Biology" in Marburg

The 5th Discussion Meeting of the VAAM Special Section will take place at the historical Alter Behring-Gutshof from 6 to 8 October. The event is organised by Martin Thanbichler, PI of our Project 8, and GRK2937 is supporting the meeting. Registration is open until 27 September.

The meeting will bring together scientists from Germany and abroad to discuss the latest results and developments in the field of bacterial and archaeal cell biology. It covers the full breadth of this research area.

The scientific program comprises three days of sessions with talks given by international keynote speakers like Lin Lin or Buzz Baum as well as speakers selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. A poster session - with contributions by GRK2937's PhDs - will provide additional opportunities for scientific discussions. Moreover, early-career scientists will have the ability to interact with invited speakers in Meet-the-Speakers sessions.
