INF - Information infrastructure

Andreas Jansen, Frederike Stein, Ralph Müller-Pfefferkorn, Michael Smolka

The SFB/TRR 393 gathers a wide variety of data sets from humans and animals in different labs and at different sites across many years. Based on existing infrastructure established in previous large-scale research projects, the INF project (i) implements a professional information infrastructure for data capture, storage, and access across all sites; (ii) integrates existing data from previous cohorts into this infrastructure; (iii) implements tools to manage the recruitment and assessment of participants; (iv) establishes comprehensive data quality control procedures; and (v) sets up training for standardized assessments of clinical data across all sites.
