Acquiring a doctoral degree within the SFB/TRR 393 requires interdisciplinary expertise. The integrated Research Training Group provides a sophisticated training programme specific to the SFB/TRR 393 topics. This includes (i) lectures covering all domains of the SFB/TRR 393; (ii) workshops; and (iii) training sessions covering scientific techniques and key lab management skills; (iv) lab visits for (international) networking and knowledge acquisition; and (v) a structured, continuous supervision, complemented by student retreats, journal clubs and soft skill trainings for a new generation of interdisciplinary and collaborative researchers.
