Open Access Publishing with the Microbiology Society

Philipps-Universität Marburg participates in a consortial contract with the Microbiology Society according to the Publish & Read model. Thereafter, corresponding authors that are members of Philipps-Universität Marburg are entitled to publish in the following journals free of charge.

The open access publication opportunity at no costs is valid also for the fully open Access journals

• Microbial Genomics
• Microbiology

as well as for the hybrid journals

• Journal of General Virology
• Journal of Medical Microbiology
• International Journal

Additionally, there is access to the research platform Access Microbiology, which supports the publication of replication studies, negative or null results, research proposals, data management plans, additions to established methods, case reports, software development, educational and outreach methods, and interdisciplinary work.
