Prof. Sabine Pankuweit, Vice President for Equal Opportunities and Career Development (left), and Katharina Völsch, Head of the Office for Anti-discrimination and Diversity, accepted the certificate for the University of Marburg's successful participation in the diversity audit “Vielfalt gestalten” in Berlin.

In July 2020, the Philipps-Universität Marburg applied successfully to participate in the Diversity Audit of the Stifterverband (website in German).
The Diversity Audit aims to support and advise universities in developing strategies, structures, services, instruments and measures for a diverse range of student groups and to involve these groups in everyday university life and lead them to academic success.

In Marburg, a university-wide diversity strategy that benefits all members of the university is to be developed during the two-year auditing process.

Within the University of Marburg, the process is accompanied by a coordination group and a steering committee.
Furthermore, the university public is informed about the progress of the project through regular reports in the university committees.

You can find out more about the project status on the German website. Feel free to also contact the ADiS for more information.
