Funds for students with a child/children

To support you in organizing your studies alongside your family responsibilities, you as a student parent can apply for regular financial support at the Gender Equality Office.

Reimbursement of babysitting costs

Student parents who have to attend classes outside of childcare hours are reimbursed up to EUR 350.00 per semester for additional childcare costs incurred (“babysitting fund”). You can obtain the application for this fund here (GER) and from the Gender Equality Office.

Subsidy for childcare costs during the graduation phase

Student parents who have registered for exams (bachelor's, master's, StEx, etc.) can apply for a financial subsidy of up to EUR 300.00 per month for up to six months during this phase, depending on their income. We will be happy to send you the application for this fund by postal mail.
