Info event: Funding opportunities for doctoral students and postdocs in the Creative Space project

The Creative Space project promotes interdisciplinary initiatives by young academics and supports the realisation of ideas beyond the mainstream. The project also awards funds to invite young scientists to Philipps-Universität in order to promote interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration. The event will provide information about these funding opportunities and offer the opportunity to ask questions.

Funding opportunities in the Creative Space project

Would you like to realise an innovative idea together with other departments or try out unconventional approaches? Would you like to organise a conference together with international colleagues or invite a (future) cooperation partner to Marburg?

With the Creative Space project, Philipps-Universität Marburg supports researchers in the early stages of their careers by providing funding opportunities for the realisation of innovative ideas and inviting external guest researchers. 

PhD students and postdocs at Philipps-Universität Marburg can receive up to €5,000 for

a) interdisciplinary initiatives

b) invitations of guest researchers (postdocs).

At least three applicants are required who nominate one person as the main contact person for the application. In order to promote interdisciplinarity, several departments should be involved. Initiatives that have scientific or science policy relevance and/or whose results are aimed at science communication and transfer are eligible for funding.

Are you interested in the funding opportunities offered by the Creative Space project but are unable to attend the information event? We will come to you! You are welcome to invite us to the mid-level faculty meeting in your department to present the funding programme.
